Thesis: Promoting Potential: A Mixed Method Study Evaluating the Impact of Differing School Settings on High-Achieving Students’ Academic and Psychosocial Outcomes

This project aimed to begin addressing the gap in the research for a sound, multi-dimensional assessment of the relative advantages and disadvantages of academically selective schools for high-achieving students. Specifically, the study compared the differential impact of diverse school settings (selective and mixed-achievement comprehensive) on the academic achievement and biopsychosocial outcomes for the students who attend them.
