Alison Carver is a Research Fellow in the Mary MacKillop Institute for Health Research, ACU. Her research focuses on the impact of the built environment on the physical and mental health of older adults. Previously as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Deakin University, she examined how social and built environments may influence children’s active transport, physical activity, and independent mobility in their local neighbourhoods. She is also an Honorary Fellow in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, Deakin University.
