Patrick Keyzer joined ACU in 2021 as Professor of Law and Public Policy and Dean of the Thomas More Law School. Professor Keyzer studied arts and law at the University of Sydney. His doctoral thesis, Open Constitutional Courts, explored how rules governing costs and standing in constitutional cases impact on access to constitutional justice, and theorised a new approach that was cited by the High Court of Australia in 2015.

Michele Riondino earned his PhD at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome and is now a Professor of Canon Law and Children’s Rights at ACU, where he is also the inaugural Director of the Canon Law Centre. Professor Riondino has authored two books and co-authored a third, written numerous articles and chapters of books, and his work has been published in national and international juridical reviews.

David Spencer joined the Thomas More Law School on 11 February 2019. He has been at ACU since 2012.
Dr Alexander lectures and teaches Criminal Law and Public Law. Her research interests include the history of international humanitarian law – and change, theory and practice in international law. She also does research in legal theory and sports law.
Kunle is a Lawyer with an academic, legal, regulatory, enforcement and administrative background. He started off his formal legal experience at the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria and then joined a private law firm as a partner.
Philip is Discipline Leader in the Graduate Diploma in Migration Law and Practice. He is an experienced migration professional and educator. He has been a migration agent since 2004, and currently consults to Newland Chase, one of the largest global specialist migration firms.
Dr Bill Swannie is a Lecturer in Human Rights. His areas of expertise include human rights law, anti-discrimination law, legal theory, media law and international law.
