NAPLAN Review

Professor Claire Wyatt-Smith from the Institute for Learning Sciences and Teacher Education joins Emeritus Professor Barry McGaw AO and Emeritus Professor William Louden AM to undertake the NAPLAN Review.

The purpose of the review is to identify what a standardised testing regime in Australian schools should deliver, assess how well NAPLAN achieves this, and propose short and longer-term improvements. Stage 1 of the Review has seen the release of the Interim Report.  In Stage 2 the expert panel will seek feedback from public and stakeholder groups.
