Clayton received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, in 2005.  He was Professor of Philosophy at King’s College London before coming to ACU in 2020. His research is concerned with issues in epistemology, ethical theory, and the connections between practical and theoretical reason.
