I mainly work in logic, metaphysics, and the philosophy of language. I also have interests in the philosophy of logic and mathematics. Much of my work is on questions concerning modality and existence, and involves modal or higher-order logic.
I received a BA in philosophy from the University of Konstanz, an MSc in logic from the University of Amsterdam, and a DPhil in philosophy from the University of Oxford in 2015. Before joining ACU in 2020, I was professor of philosophy at the University of Oslo.
