I’m a research professor in the Dianoia Institute of Philosophy at ACU, as well as a part-time Professorial Fellow at the Arché Research Centre at the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
Before moving to Australia I was Alumni Distinguished Professor in Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. And from 2004-2015 I worked at Washington University in St Louis.
I was an undergrad at the University of St Andrews and did my PhD in philosophy at Princeton University (2004). In 2005 I was a Killam Postdoc at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
