About clinical education

Get the tools you need to teach in a clinical context. If you’re a health care graduate or professional, our clinical education courses can enable you to facilitate clinical learning in a range of dynamic workplaces, such as health care, research, education and training. You’ll enhance your health care practice and expand the breadth and depth of your knowledge and skills. Our programs have been designed with the input of ACU academic staff and industry professionals to best meet the needs of clinical educators, so you know you’re in good hands.

Lead your way

Take advantage of a leadership unit in your Graduate Diploma of Clinical Education or Master of Clinical Education. You’ll gain additional leadership knowledge and skills, which can be especially useful if you’ve moved quickly into clinical education or a managerial position in your organisation.

Do it online

Too busy to come to campus? No problem. Our clinical education courses are offered fully online, so you can skip the classroom and better balance your work, study and home commitments.

Chart your career course

Pick the program that’s right for you. Health professionals who complete the graduate certificate can work in a variety of clinical education roles, including educators and managers. Diploma recipients get a knowledge of broader education policies and organisational culture, while masters graduates can pursue high-level academic research.

A safe pair of hands

Quality and safety is an issue of key importance in health care education and management. To meet this need, our Graduate Diploma of Clinical Education and our Master of Clinical Education both come with a Quality and Safety in Health Care unit.
