About high performance sport

High performance sport is a global, multi-billion-dollar industry employing sports scientists, coaches and managers. Prepare for a career in the sector by gaining skills in sports performance and analysis, interactive technology and data, exercise programming, and athletic strength and conditioning. Learn to design and deliver programs that enhance athletic outcomes, reduce the likelihood of injury and illness, and optimise the performances of individuals and teams.

Our academic staff are at the forefront of high performance sport research. Many of our teaching staff are also part of the Sports Performance, Recovery, Injury and New Technologies (SPRINT) Research Centre, ensuring you get the most up-to-date information as it’s being discovered.
