Overview

A better understanding of the past ensures a better understanding of present and future possibilities. Church history explores the origins of the Christian tradition and its development in different historical contexts, ranging from the ancient Roman empire to the recent past. You'll develop transferable skills in research, critical thinking, analysis of source material, the use of persuasive and evidence-based arguments, and a better understanding of the Catholic tradition (important for employees of Catholic institutions).
